HASAN.VC’s Startup Showcase Demo Day Highlights 26 Promising Startups

HASAN.VC ‘s recently hosted Startup Showcase Demo Day showcased 26 promising startups from the second cohort of HASAN.VC’s 7-week online Accelerator programme.

These startups, representing a diverse range of industries and countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, as well as the United Arab Emirates, showcased their innovative solutions and commitment to creating a more ethical and sustainable economy.

The event underscored HASAN.VC’s commitment to pioneering a new paradigm in ethical entrepreneurship, reshaping the economic landscape through the lens of integrity and sustainability.

As part of its mission, HASAN.VC is addressing the critical need for more ethical and sustainable businesses to solve humanity’s challenges. Recognising this, HASAN.VC has developed a comprehensive solution that integrates a dedicated fund for their angel group and an accelerator to support and nurture startup founders.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to ethical entrepreneurship, we’re empowering entrepreneurs to rethink business as a force for good,” said Mohd Akhtaar, Principal and Head of Accelerator at HASAN.VC. “This event illustrates the power of mentorship and community support in building resilient, purpose-driven startups that contribute meaningfully to society.”

The accelerator programme, which offers more than just funding, provides comprehensive strategic support—including mentorship, market access, and tailored advisory services – to help startups scale in an ethical, sustainable way.

HASAN.VC’s accelerator stands apart from traditional venture capital models by focusing on “camel startups” – businesses that are designed to be resilient, adaptable, and built to endure over time. By prioritizing long-term value over short-term trends, HASAN.VC aims to challenge the prevailing VC approach that often overlooks the true potential of sustainable businesses in favor of quick gains and fast exits.

“We believe in investing in businesses that are not just looking for rapid growth but are committed to long-term, sustainable impact,” said Umar Munshi, Managing Partner at HASAN.VC. “Our focus is on creating partnerships with founders who are equally dedicated to building a lasting legacy, rather than chasing fleeting trends.”

The Startup Showcase attracted angel investors, venture capitalists, institutional investors, and key industry stakeholders, all eager to support startups that share the principles of ethical and impact-driven business practices. This diverse group of decision-makers reflects the growing momentum around ethical innovation and the need for businesses that go beyond profit to create a more balanced, values-driven economy.
