Travel Tech Startup, Tourplus Partners Plus Malaysia To Boost Tourism To Terengganu

Tourplus Technology Sdn Bhd (Tourplus), a Malaysian travel tech startup has announced the launch of ‘Cuti-cuti Malaysia Terengganu’ in collaboration with PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS), providing Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 (LPT2) users with a chance to win up to RM20,000 in cashback rewards.

The campaign, which will run for a period of 47 days from 21 October 2022 to 7 December 2022, is aimed at encouraging more customers to travel to Terengganu using LPT2. The campaign will also enable customers to experience a more unique and fun-filled trip by discovering lesser-known scenic spots and attractions along the highway and sharing them with other fellow LPT2 customers.

To participate, customers must first sign up via the Tourplus app. Customers will then need to upload photos or videos as well as a review on the Tourplus app of three (3) different must-see attractions, restaurants or hidden gems that they uncover along the LPT2.

20 lucky winners will be selected from the qualifying entries to win a cashback offer of up to RM20,000.00 based on their expenses along the LPT2 including toll payments, petrol, accommodation and food while they are travelling to Terengganu. Participants will be judged based on their submitted photos or videos and reviews.

This campaign is open to all Malaysian customers aged 18 and above. Participating customers must be Tourplus app and PLUSMiles members to be eligible to claim the cashback and must be able to show the original receipts of their expenses.

“We hope that through this campaign, more Malaysians will be able to share their experiences and discover rare finds via photos, videos and reviews from other LPT2 users. Using the Tourplus app, LPT2 users will also be able to personalise their travel experience, enabling them to plan a more exciting journey and make the most of their drive to and from Terengganu”, Goh added.

Customers who have signed up to participate in the campaign will be automatically registered as PLUSMiles and Tourplus members. Winners who have been selected will be notified via email and via an announcement post on the PLUSMiles and Tourplus Facebook and Instagram pages at the end of the campaign.
